Our Quality

Grown from Seed

We carefully select seeds that grow chestnut trees that produce large, flavorful nuts.  Our trees are strong and healthy; there is no need to worry about graft failure.

Healthy Taproots

Our trees are grown in deep pots to ensure a healthy taproot and prevent the tree from becoming rootbound.  We deliver our trees potted to ensure quality.

Raised Outdoors

Our trees are used to the SC weather.  They are acclimated to our hot summers and have come to life in the spring after an unusually cold snowy winter.
